| Why is MMS so much less money than a charter bus company? |
Top |
|
| |
| |
There are several reasons, but mostly it comes down to overhead. Most charter companies run new buses that cost over $400,000 new. There is huge depreciation per mile. Second, these companies are for-profit. Several individuals must receive a paycheck. MMS has very minimal overhead expenses. There is no owner, no building to maintain, and no dispatcher to pay.

| Can we use our own bus driver? |
Top |
|
| |
| |
|
Yes. All potential drivers must be properly licensed and complete an driver safety form. Once MMS receives this form, a background check is conducted. Potential drivers may not have a DUI, DWI, reckless driving offence, or more than four points as a result of traffic violations or accidents. Once the background check is complete, all drivers must participate in a driving road test with an MMS representative. Once approved, drivers are placed on MMS insurance and may drive anytime for your group. If your driver volunteers his or her time, you just saved extra $$.
